Since 2011, John has worked in emergency medicine. He began as an EMT, transitioned to the role of a paramedic, and then spent 5 years working as an emergency and trauma nurse at a level II trauma center. To date, John thoroughly enjoys serving as a nurse practitioner in a local emergency department. John has been a certified instructor for the American Heart Association for 10+ years.
